1. The host is more than 20mm from the ground

Use of antifreeze in winter

1. Pipe insulation

2. Add antifreeze to the system

When it is inconvenient for the unit to drain water, antifreeze can be added, such as antifreeze at - 15 ℃ and - 25 ℃. However, due to the high price of antifreeze, the initial investment cost will increase. In addition, when using antifreeze, pay attention not to use cheap antifreeze, such as methanol mixed antifreeze, which is corrosive to the pipeline and will cause great damage to valves, pipe fittings, water pumps and unit heat exchangers.

3. Keep power on

When the heat pump unit is used, it is required to keep the unit energized, which can not only ensure that the unit can provide heating all day, but also ensure that the unit will not frost when the compressor is started frequently, so that the unit can operate normally, and even start the automatic antifreeze protection function when the outdoor temperature is too low in winter.

4. Do not touch the function keys of the control panel

There are many keys on the control panel of the host, some of which are used to regulate the water temperature, and some of which are timed. If the user tampers with them, the normal operation of the host may be affected. For example, if the timer key is pressed, the host may not start when it needs to work.

5. Ice and snow treatment

If the outdoor pipeline has been frozen, but there is no cracking, remember not to knock the pipeline or pour hot water on it, and wait for the ice on it to melt naturally.

In addition, the installation position of the heat pump must not be poorly ventilated. If there are sundries in front of it, please pay attention to the cleaning. If the snow is too heavy in winter, pay more attention to the timely removal of snow.

6. Dispose of condensate properly

The main reason why the ultra-low temperature variable frequency air energy heat pump is frozen is that the air temperature is too low. Condensate will be generated when the host is working, and once the condensate drainage is not smooth and accumulates around the equipment, it may cause the equipment to freeze. Therefore, in order to avoid freezing of equipment, condensate must be effectively treated. The solutions are: First, raise the installation position of the host. The more serious the local ice and snow conditions are, the higher the installation position should be; 2、 Add tracing band on the chassis of the main engine to defrost and deice; 3、 Wrap the tracing band on the outer wall of the condensate or defrosting water drainage pipe to prevent icing.
