The air energy water heater, also known as the air energy heat pump, absorbs the low temperature heat in the air. The following explains the installation methods of different types of air energy heat pump:

1、 The air energy heat pump with regular water supply generally selects the air energy host as the circulating type:

Calculate the total daily hot water consumption, match the corresponding host and water tank, and install circulating pipes on the water tank and air energy heat pump for circulating heating; Then add cold water after the hot water is used up in a certain period of time, or when the water level is lower than a certain stage, and reheat. The energy efficiency ratio of circulating air energy heat pump water heater is relatively high. It is recommended to use this method in general factories, schools and other units where the water consumption time is concentrated.

2、 The installation type of air energy heat pump for all day water supply can be selected: direct heating, circulating, large and small water tank mode, etc

1.Direct heating type: refers to that the hot water of cold water can be used directly after being heated by the air energy heat pump host, and the outlet water temperature can reach about 55 ℃ (thermostat). The principle of direct heating type is to control the amount of make-up water through a throttling device. The water flow cannot fill the whole heat exchanger. Therefore, when making a direct heating air source heat pump, the pipe diameter of the heat exchanger should not be too large, and the most reasonable pipe diameter and water flow mode should be selected.

2. Circulating type: the air energy heat pump heats the water in the water tank by circulating heating. When a part of the water in the water tank is used, the water tank is replenished and then recycled to the required temperature. This installation mode is relatively simple and common.

3. Large and small water tanks: the heat pump host first heats a small water tank to the set temperature, then supplies all the water from the water tank to the large water tank, and then heats the small water tank with make-up cold water, continuously circulating until the large water tank is filled with hot water. This method is relatively complex in terms of control, but it does not appear that the circulating air energy water heater unit is heated at high temperature, so the energy-saving effect is good, but the installation cost is relatively high.

Attention shall be paid to the installation of air energy heat pump above: in order to avoid unreasonable increase of water pressure, booster pump shall be used.
